Got two question to ask,

1) Why i cannot use my ordinary microsd adapter with microsd 8gb memory card that comes with my tube? Seems my pc cannot detect the memory card. Do i need special microsd adapter?

2) when i buy my tube 2 days ago, my warranty card (avaxx set) is empty/unfilled. No shop stamp. Is that ok? Can i send that warranty card to nokia without shop stamp?

Thanks.
*
1) i don't think so...why don't u just use the usb port or bluetooth? this is to avoid wear and tear on the memory card =)

2) go back to the shop to get it stamped, just in case...

Added on January 11, 2009, 11:59 pmweyh, anyone tried to enable theme effects? its in the themes options...go see...my phone lagged...does urs?

By problematic, I meant that many forumers have been experiencing hardware problems other than the earpiece volume.

And no I do not have one, yet.. Will probably wait if I can until better units are produced
*
that's up to you...hardware can be fixed...firmware can be updated...its just whether you want the phone or not...almost 200 registered on LYN...that's only after 72 hours from launch...

after catching up with the tremendous number of posts, i am happy to report that my 5800 is still working fine after 3 days...(no wood to touch here)

got a screen protector...cut the top part off in a straight line...so the SP is only covering the nokia XpressMusic downwards...

Actually when i go to NCC, they never even bother to see anything beside the IMEI no which is on the phone sweat.gif
*
its because they have the phone in the database...that is if it is Ori la...but of course it is always the safer choice to bring everything...including charger, case, and all the unnecessary stuff that came in the box =)

Why the price difference? Here only got Avaxx RM1499 unit. RM200 is a lot of money, at least my car can run for almost a month.
*
come KL la (fuel pergi-balik should be less than 200 right?)...

LYP there should have a few(but i have never been there)...

and don't buy Avaxx at Zitron price when u can buy it much much cheaper...

besides, u can get other stuff while ur here too...

bring shopping list =p

Guys, I'm an avid SMSer. How fast would you say the touch response is? Say if I use the number keypad instead of the QWERTY, is the speed as normal or there's slight lag when I tap it a few times to reach a certain letter. Would I be able to outrun the processor by a few letters or can it keep up??
*
there is no lag as far as i can tell...the qwerty keyboard is easy to use and much nicer than the T9 interface...but the T9 interface is quite fast too but you must remember to lift ur finger a bit before pressing again...

my SP got scratched while using the plectrum  blink.gif
*
i realised that the end of the plectrum is a bit sharp compared to the stylus...

i think its cause of the way its made...

there will be some "baki" at the edge of the thing...

u can feel the sharpness if u go against the plectrum really hard with ur thumb

I am a frequent sms'er also and my phones have to have the ability to sms according to my comfort. The 5800 took me by surprise when i was able to sms easily.
Sometimes there is a slight lag i dont think the processor will be able to follow you if you were VERY fast lol.
I use the dictionary to sms and it does perfectly.
but you havta look at the screen and sms thow....
*
i'm sure u'll get used to it after a while...

here's a tip for everyone...

install a screen protector before using stylus or plectrum to prevent unintentional scratches
