QUOTE(H2D @ Oct 29 2011, 10:54 PM) well, i'm not a dahon fanboy. Say, actually I don't really mind the price as long as the bike suits me and is worth the price tag. Money wise, I'll just have to work and save up for it. i get a dahon because it has a model that i like, and suits my budget. i can't find any other folding bike model that looks like that, simple as that. My view of Dahon is, that it caters to a wide range of cyclist, it has a wide range of bicycle models ( as of 2011), a wide range of design, it doesn't make ridiculous stuff like carbon fiber/titanium folding bike that cost over 10K. i agree that the price is a bit expensive, but the build quality is there, folding bike is more difficult to make as well, not all folding joint is there same. and also there is no competitor for certain models. can u find a model from other brand that is almost the same as the X10? Honestly, I have only started looking at foldies since yesterday, so havent seen much yet. My criterias are durability > comfort > speed > price. Any models you'd recommend? |

umm, say less than 5k preferably? nothing too expensive lah, beh tahan. the vector x10 is considered quite expensive for me already.
from what i've seen on youtube, that Speed P8 moves way too slow. p.s. by durable i meant it shouldnt break apart easily. doesnt have to be a bike that can go on rough terrains. |

err, i dont really bother bout the specs, as long as its good, decent, they suit me fine. but still, i prefer more speeds lah. alright. thanks for recommending me to the bikes. will check them out in the morning. =D |

Yeah, more gears. I like a wide range of gears.
Im interested in the Tern bikes. Especially the Verge x10. Seems like its 95% similar to the Dahon Vector x10. If its cheaper I may probably get it. Am liking the Verge P18 and x30h. But from what I've read, the earlier posts, the x30h is too expensive for me. |

Fake lah of course, but has this happened in RL? logically thinking, i doubt the groin hit is possible. but still, with that pole sticking out in front so near, btw, reading and learning alot from the samosaurus's blog. tons of stuff there. |

Anyone has any experience with this brand before? Is it reliable? This is the 242 Art'ismo. I'm interested in the 202 Blackmax too. The listed price is 44k for 242 and 33k for 202, both in yen. Quite a attractive price IMO. But then the Blackmax's handles seem to be very very very tiny, or am i wrong. http://www.doppelganger.jp/en/product/202/top/ 1 more, how is the handling of a 16" bike compared to a 20" ? QUOTE(H2D @ Nov 6 2011, 11:14 PM) if u measure the angle of the strida, the crank looks much further front SWEET MAMA JESUS! hahahahahha LOL than a normal bicycle.. then if u cycle standing up wana climb hill, the top of the triangle frame is poking at ur groin/nuts... the higher the seat goes, the closer the handle is to ur body... his Strida only or all Stridas are like that? |
