Dude, that's not a seat.

Its a luggage rack and its advisable not to carry people on it or risk injuries. You might want to consider a child seat that can be mounted on the top tube...
Java fit.. Very popular bike..

Hahha!! I am no master la.. Just a fat guy who loves to eat and travel on his folding bike..

Java Fit, to be honest, is pretty basic and has a good price point.

But, having said that, there are several weaknesses on its frame. The FD mount is pretty flimsy and there are two pieces of plates securing its truss. Its not bad as a leisure bike and the Taiping gang (about a dozen of them rides the Java) have nice things to say about this bike..

Word of advice, get a bike from a reliable manufacturer who can back you up in terms of parts and after sales service. You might end up paying more, but that is for a piece of mind..

HASA is a reliable bicycle manufacturer and their folding bikes are still very "crude" in every way. It won the Sepang Folding Bike race on the first year - good cyclist on the helm la..

Java, is from China, uses low-end components and I've seen some really heavily modified Javas. So, from RM1.8K, the owners ended up paying double for the upgrades.

"Hummer" is actually a licensed product. The real bike came from Montague bicycles. Its similar to the much-copied Paratrooper and Paratrooper Pro design.

Basically, its a fully-functional folding mountain bike. There's is a good following here..

The biggest Hasa's folding bike drawback is the crimping of the gear cable when folding and unfolding. That's a design failure! unsure.gif

If recommendations or comments is from our folding bike guru Samosaurus is not master opinion, I guess one needs to seek advise from the manufacturers themselves. thumbup.gif

Hahah.. Still so much to learn my friend..

One tip on searching for your ride: Manufacturer's reputation.

I would say that from 1982 - 2011, Dahon tops it all with so many awards for their innovation. Sadly, their products are pretty inferior these days when they sacrificed quality for the mass market.

This legacy is carried on by Tern Bicycles - won an award on their very first year for the eclipse S11i 24" folding bike. Way I see it, Tern is the future for foldable urban transport.

Hahahha!!! Teh Tarik?? I sometimes bump into Etigge at My Bicycle Shop in BU 4, Bandar Utama. The owner, Mr Johnny Ng is a specialist in servicing folding bikes.. And serves some really good Chinese tea.. These days I hardly drink teh tarik.. too much sugar la.. shocking.gif
