Too sweet la.. hahah!! btw i got quote for P9 from Rodalink is 2660, Van's is 2600 and khass is 2520 Khass is one of K2 Asia's top dealers. They are also partly the reason why Singapore's distributors are so pissed off because many of the bikes were bought from Johor Baru. I heard the owner is very friendly and got a beautiful daughter.. In PJ, Vans Cycle is THE shop to watch out for. Very aggressive and growing very fast. They also package their bikes with great offers.. Lots of freebies.. But if you go to their flagship store in SS2, better watch out for the lansee shortass technician. Very rude bugger and hardly know anything.. ![]() This is a tricked-out Tern Link P9. The owner is a Singaporean who did some massive upgrade to his bike. Love the VRO Syntace stem on the Link P9... Well, it's a 10-speed bike now.. QUOTE(d1rTyd6n @ Aug 6 2013, 04:56 PM) Pro Ride in Bdr Puteri Puchong display price alone cheaper than Melaka FOC bottle cage. See Leslie.Sin Bee Hee at Jalan Ong Kim Wee if you are in Melaka We bought a dark blue and a white. Good enough for leisure. For seat, you either change to Selle Royal gel saddle or get yourself cycling pants Love riding on Putrajaya biking lanes. Not bumpy at all. QUOTE(Robyn @ Aug 13 2013, 12:06 PM) Sam - yes the khass owner really got a beautiful daughter, saw that is her whatsapp picture...make me wanto go JB to buy.. haha.. jz kidding Dude, I am not telling you not to go to Vans in SS2. You can deal with the boss, whose namesake is on the signboard. I met her at a workshop I conducted for Bikepacking, very decent and nice person. Its the technician that is causing havoc in the shop. If you go to Setia Alam, talk to Sebastian. He is an old friend of mine, also very knowledgeable about folding bikes.... So you are not recommending to go Vans ss2 ? shah alam is better right ? btw, wat need to careful or check when getting a new bike from shop ? ![]() My most recent workshop on Bikepacking.. ![]() The owner of Vans Cycle in the centre, very nice lady.. A short video on the workshop As for pre-delivery, ask for a tune-up. Very few shops are good at this. They open the bikes straight from the box, don't even test-ride it and sell. So, most of the time, you get small issues like brakes not working properly, the gear shifter out of sync and small-small issues... Also, after you get your bike, try and find a reliable service mechanic. That way, your bike can last you a lifetime.. Sam |
