I need some answers to a few questions about my faulty xbox 360 (falcon) which I just bought only 2 months ago. The problem is that the console suddenly cease to detect any controllers anymore although u still could turn it on using the controller. Everything else is fine and even the light circles when i switch it on or press the sync button. Its just that it cannot recognize the controllers anymore. So i have a few questions to ask u guys:

1)what is the real problem here? when i first sent it for repair, the staff or boss told me that it might has something to do with console button and then a week later when i asked he said the technician told him its the wireless module. I asked two other shop owners and they told me it might be because of the sync button or the receiver.

2)how long does a repair usually takes? its the third week now and its not fixed yet.

3)approximately how long does it takes to order components from a supplier? any xbox 360 seller could answer this question.

4)and lastly, can anyone tell me any info about max dream at usj summit? have i bought at the wrong store?

you could probably get Tech2 to inspect the damage..
he's one of the reputable seller here and he does repairs too.
look for his thread in the Garage Sales section under consoles couch.

same thing happened to my xbox a month or two ago. it go struck by lightning, network port fried, wireless controllers can't sync.

same case like u; controllers can turn on the box, but after that it just won't connect. trying to re-sync the controllers to hte box using the sync buttons won't work as well.

i dont have solution but i can tell u this: changing the RF module won't help either. i did it already, still same symptoms. i'm assuming that the damage is on the main board itself, not the RF module. i suggest u get a new box or if ur box is still under microsoft warranty = send it back

The batteries are all fine. The console is problematic. Is there a technician who could attempt to give his/her two cents.
