i dont know know to flash or modding phones.. but i had tried the SEUS yet it shows that i have the latest firmware.
i got Facebook application but dont have the conversation style. whereas my friend's do have the conversation style but dun have the facebook application.

my firmware version is R1HA035. Is it the latest firmware or ？

Oh.. about the auto-flashing. you try to switch it off in the setting. Setting > setting > AF light > OFF
Switch the setting of AF light to OFF under "setting > AF light".
My setting is like this and it will no longer auto flash by it's own although u OFF the flash.

Right.. it will not flash sometimes although it is in low light condition
yup, my setting is either 0.3 or 0.7 too. But sometimes it's still dark. The camera really not good at all taking pic at night. Too bad.

I found that actually this feature is always in the phone. Just the latest firmware which is R1HA035 APAC version had disabled it but it has added few more application such as facebook, photo mate and etc. It is disable by default in APAC firmware. For ur information, my phone does not has it as i said in earlier time and i keep asking about how to enable it in this thread. haha

However, i dont think i was "flashed" it. Flash is something like "format" it right? i dont really know what's the meaning of flash. LOL
It just adding another customize file to enable/activate the feature as what you shown me in previous post.
I'm using a2uploader version 3.

It's quite easy actually. Just connect ur phone to the a2uploader and drag a file into tpa/present/custom.
Just an addon i think, because it does not affect all ur files. It will not be deleted after i did it with a2uploader. All contacts and files are still there.
But just backup just in case la bro.

This is the customize file that i had add in my phone. It contains normal sms mode which is the one you are using now and threaded sms.
If you want to enable the threaded sms, just upload the customize file in threaded sms folder into ur phone. To disable it, use the normal sms file.

Haha. At first i was using older version of a2uploader and it does not allow me access to the phone.
I downloaded for another version which is version 3 and i did it successfully.

You got the point. I switched to GSM too since i rarely use video call. I searched over the internet and found that the latest version R1Ha035 firmware had decrease the battery life and signal reception compare to previous version. However, it improved the speed of the phone and the camera when saving the photos.
