If possible, I wanna get the real thing before resorting to alternatives. Painting the walls is a big no-no, so many "negotiations" need to be in place. Haha...

So I guess this thing is not popular and cannot be found around here. I'll try eBay then. Anyway thanks guys!

The proper green matte cost thousands and you have to be specific what sizes you want.6'x6',10'x10',20'x20',40'x40'.It makes no sense to buy, better off renting it from equipment house.Actually green fabric from kamdar still works as long as it don't have much crisses and folds.

Even if to paint, you need to buy specific paint, not just any ordinary green paint. You need to shop for a brand called Pelaka.

If you are looking for accurate chromakey color.

Real thing? buy the paint made for green screen then. the paint has very little green bounce that may lead to spills to your subject/objects in frame. however, i couldn't find the paint here.

2nd option, try muslin material screens. again, i can't find any here.

3rd option, there is a camera shop that sells a huge piece, i use it but i never measured it cuz i never bought it, it's my company's one. about RM160.

4th option, if you can find a textile shop that could offer you a size you like, go for it.

Most importantly, lighting will affect your overall end product as well as having the correct white balance when shooting. avoid spills, avoid over brightened green screen spots (hot spots) and keep your subject well lit without overexposure. keep your green material free from wrinkles, makes your post job easier. excellent results can be obtained from buying a cloth from kamdar, but too bad it's just too small.
