If you have noticed that your PC suddenly run very slow

- task manager disabled
- registry edit disabled
- almost all antivirus cannot be opened or even installed
- some games cannot be played
- k-lite codec pack player cannot be used for videos

And this is from other people when they infected by this virus

This is a virus I got from a Flash drive that shook my head for three days. Once ran in your computer, it will infect your exe files so when you run a certain program, the virus will also run. One of the symptoms when I got this were disabled task manager and registry editor, avira doesn’t run although it is set as automatic, ccleaner and procexp are rejected from execution. I was able to clean this virus using ESET NOD 32 (only the trial version). Noob Killer didn’t work as well as Super Anti Spyware, Spyware Doctor, AVG Antispyware, and Lavasoft SE.

Here is what ESET has to say about this virus.

Well, this is very dangerous virus and stick to me for bout 3 weeks.

Have to reinstall games everytime to play because everytime i restart PC the game won't work.

I googled for the solutions, tried many Antivirus ( most can't even be executed ), and many ways, but failed.

Till then, i found a way to keep all your files safe and remove the virus safely.

First, if u don hv extra partition, better use Partition Magic to create 1 more, to put all your important files, images, pictures into the extra disk.

After that, reformat your original disk, not the backup disk, after reformat, don't install any .exe yet and don't touch the files in your backup disk.

Download and install AntiVir Personal, select Custom Scan, select the Backup Disk, and click Scan.
It will definitely detect Win32/Sality.NAR virus in the files in backup disk.

And your PC will be safe again!

Sorry, your method is vague as it does not deal with the virus or to reverse the action of virus. Backup-files-to-another-partition method is too general to be mentioned as a method of virus removal.
