A tenth unbeaten game run.errrmm hmm.gif still frustrating
fifth place now seems to be a natural spot for a side whose midfield has been ripped apart by injuries to Fabregas,Rosicky and Walcott,(and now Diaby with Eboue) cry.gif yet it is bizarre that Wenger did not appreciate the problems in that area of his team and move to strengthen in the January transfer window.West Ham defended well and deserve some credit because they worked hard from start to finish and made it very difficult for us.As another month passes without a convincing performance to silence the doubts, there comes a point where all will have to appreciate this is a team in need of a makeover.Hopefully,we get the answer before tranfer window closes.Arshavin's invention would have been useful to Wenger against West Ham lacking the strength and speed required to unlock a rock solid defence. The speedy passing that was Arsenal's trademark down the years has been replaced by more patient and cautious football of late and the lack of width is also a concern.I was also curious to see RvP left out of the Arsenal starting line-up in favour of Bendtner. The Dutchman has been in red hot form in the last few weeks and should have been given a chance build on his growing confidence, but Wenger clearly felt he needed a more physical presence leading his line.Yet reality may eventually get in the way of his blurred vision after a disappointment ended in an all-too predictable stalemate.Haiizzzz......
