i know lowyat got, but which shop for the best price and service incase of faulty products/non-original. also, is G9 darkfield? what's the difference between g9x and g9 aside dpi? tried googling, didnt turned up so well.

darkfield is a laser sensor standard. so is bluefield, which is used by microsoft. darkfield is the most advanced sensor on the consumer market to date, with capability of precise tracking on most sane surfaces, even glass. the g9x employs darkfield sensor IIRC, but there's no note that the g9 does as well, the reason why i'm asking

i actually want to upgrade for quite some time, wanted to buy a g500 instead(cheaper) but not sure i prefer palm or claw. after testing my friends g5 and comparing it with a shop test of copperhead, i found that i prefer claw, so decided to go g9/g9x. i use pretty much exactly 3.2k DPI, so if g9x offers nothing extra than just DPI, i think i'll go with g9, but the pricing here seems to differ with logitech's website. in their website, the price separation between g9/g9x is huge, but according to madman, here it's just rm 10. i think i'll get it after the pc fair or maybe early april

I just got a Logitech Media Keyboard (the old PS/2 one) and I can't get the media buttons to work for sosme reason... the drivers don't give any customization options at all...

i'm using laptop now and i cant set the setting of the thumb buttons to numpads

any body claim the warranty direct from logictech b4?
I'm using a EX100, and few months back the mouse can't detect the receiver any more. since the warranty is 3 years and i using it around 2 years +, so i call to the shop, they told me they only provide warranty claim service within a year, they ask me direct claim from logictech.
i was email to logictech, and they promise me will send a replacement unit to me and ask me wait for 4 to 6 weeks time to delivery, but until today, more than 2 months time no any respond from them, and they never replay my mail any more....
so what to do now?

hi all, can know we still can RMA logitech item if we lost our receipt? can logitech check warranty status via serial number?

Anyone here have experience after collecting the mouse/keyboard from the service center? I sent my combo set for repair on 23/3/10 and till today they have yet to repair it. When i sent it, they told me 2 weeks-1 month.

Usually how long do they take? The problem was only with the mouse, not detecting.

Mine i went straight to MCL because it's nearer than KL for me.
