Good question. As far as I know, it depends on the game purchased condition.

If the game is purchased using Playstation Plus discount (it has a yellow typical PS+ sign), and if the Playstation Plus expired, then you won't be able to play it.

But, if you purchased the game without Playstation Plus discount (the game without Playstatiion Plus on it),
you should be able to continue to play the game because you paid full price for it.

Hmm... now that you've mentioned this, you maybe correct and I hope I am wrong on this too because one outta be able to keep the paid-for game (regardless of discounted PSN + or not).

Need someone with a expired PSN + account and paid-for games to confirm this.
