WHAT???

To my understanding, a Semi-HOLLOW (could be called acoustic) would be an electric guitar with a hollowed bodied. For example:

An Epiphone Dot

An Electrical Acoustic, would be an acoustic with a pickup, enabling you to connect to an amplifier. For Example:

semi acoustic and electric acoustic are essentially the same.
both are normal acoustic guitars with built-in pickups.

the pickups are there so that when u wanna make even more noise or plug it to an amp with a metal zone, u can.

Semis are also refered to as hollowbody guitars (ex. ES-335, Epi Dot,...) while Electric/Acoustics are just acoustic guitars with piezo/trandsucer pickups installed..

the feedback occurs because the pickups are like mics and therefore very prone to feedback, unlike the pickups on an electric guitar for example.

Semi Acoustic Guitar and Electric Acoustic Guitar are referring to the same thing, it's a acoustic guitar with pickup, you can play it with or without plug to the amp. That's why it's called semi acoustic or electric acoustic, the names already showed you the meaning.

You mean the dot marker on 5th fret, 7th fret, 9th fret, 12th fret and so on?
It's easier for you to do a jump/shift from one fret to another fret without any mistake. But some guitars like classical guitar do not have fret marker dot. I own a classical guitar which doesnt has any dot on the fret. When you master the fretboard, you get used where to place your fingers, you dont really need the dot.
