Indeed. The reason why Nokia is selling at this price point is to get back some market shares(as told by one of my authorised Nokia dealer friend), also to fight AP dealers at the same time. Why would you think Nokia will risk such move that can greatly affect its reputation.

What's the price now for ori set?. Am thinking of getting this after I've collected enough money. But seeing all these complaints about earpiece problems. Considering that this is supposed to be a multimedia phone, volume problems for a phone of this calibre is unacceptable. This upgrade is a big leap from my current 2310.    So I would expect great reliability from a phone worth 10x more.

I just hope that if I ever get this phone, all probs should come out within the warranty period, if I ever get one. I was thinking of either this, or the waaaaaay cheaper 5320.

But I wouldn't do this very early though.    I'm pretty brave at fixing mechanicals, but electronics, not so. Electronics are still too "magical" for me.
