There are a crap loads of models and it would be impossible to list them all down with the prices.
Your best bet? Do some google search first (Keywords: Acoustic Pickup) and then comment here. Also, do a price search at http://www.musiciansfriend.com and then get back to us. My suggestion? Try Fishman pickups.... around RM500 for a basic model. |

which do you want? soundhole pickups? built in ones? under saddle?
u have got to tell us your options. FISHMAN is a good start. if ure on a budget, their neo-D passive soundhole pickup does the job nicely and its only listed at RM239. you can get them from JS music. |

i guess to noobs like us, it would be difficult. but to someone that has installed it before, it would be pretty straightforward n simple. |

Good thing about using a soundhole pickup is that you don't need to cut your precious guitar to install the tone controls (even those with guitars below RM500 would feel pain just thinking about it)!
Soundhole pickups are also less suceptable to feedback and I heard they can be used more "forgivingly" in an electric guitar amp. And it's cheaper too... Of course, if you want to record all those nice "finger slide" or guitar body tapping type sounds, you'll need a built-in pickup... |

It's the one with the built in goose-neck condenser mic |

pickups are cheap... it's those on board pre-amp that will blow a big hole in your wallet.
i fixed an imix system already cost around 1.2k.. The last time i checked, fishman preamps are around 600. Preamp and pickups are different. Added on January 22, 2009, 12:05 pmif got the money, i'd recommend the ibeam system from LR baggs. Awesome sound. costs around 300 bucks.. without the pre-amp system.
