Anyway yay!  rclxm9.gif I've solved my earpiece problem! I managed to slice open the phone using the plectrum (as recommended). The phone had many dusts inside it and was shocked. Anyway, I've re-seat the speaker and re-do the contacts. Then I've placed some mini adhesive tapes (from my company) over it to keep it in place. Then I've found some mini-foam for the speaker. That way when the top casing is assembled back, the additional mini foam will press on it maintaining contact. And it works! No problems anymore.

Then I've manually flashed the latest v11 firmware on my phone using Phoenix. It was good and everything working fine. Its definitely an improvement over v10 firmware.  rclxms.gif

Note: due to my 'maybe' harsh opening the cover (eventhough i use the spectrum) got like jagged edge on the middle cover (just imagine u gigit penutup pen, then got some kind of teeth marks on it) just a bit, here & there  sweat.gif

P/S those who never try this method yet, pls do it carefully (starting to regret)  cry.gif

Yes. Absolutely yes.

Anyway the firmware upgrade procedures are simple but unique. Unique in the sense, it is not the usual Nokia Software Updater. I think it is a firmware flasher utility all Nokia Service Center uses. I can post the procedures for Pana to post here. I'll write to her tomorrow.

The screwdriver used is a mini flat one, the ones you use for tightening your spectacles and mini screws. NO screwing is required, you just use the flat tip to flip the speaker off its holder. Thats it.

okay. looking forward to it. bundle of thanx~
