yes, you are right, there is no way u can get the GPS sats to send messages for you, still has to go through ur telco exchange, any sms'es that goes in and out ur phone, comes from ur telco exchange, so unless someone has got prepaid, then u can test it out ...How can it use GPS connectivity to send the SMS , no exchange of information is performed within GPS systems
