QUOTE(imperialrealcs @ Jan 19 2009, 12:52 AM) rebuilt means change every damn thing in the engine whether it was worn or not okay ... got it...only use back the engine block.. after installing everything, the engine will go for balancing etc etc.. in contrary, overhaul only change what is worn and what is still ok will be reused so did u rebuilt urs before? how much does it cost? |

QUOTE(kazami @ Jan 19 2009, 12:27 AM) i always heard ppl said rebuilt mass production engine has huge tolerance on engine parts and its weight... can anyone kindly explain to me wat kind of stuff will the rebuild? wat about engine balancing? how is it to be done? engine balancing is to make sure all pistons and conrods are the exact weight... crankshaft will be fully balanced so dat there is not even a tiniest vibration due to imbalanced counter weights... after doing engine balancing, ur engine will rev up more smoothly and able to achieve higher revs limit.... QUOTE(Killerz622 @ Jan 19 2009, 12:36 AM) if not mistaken auto gen got sell... it is used to stop ur brake pump from moving forward each time u press on the brakes... this improves the braking efficiency and more direct feel... I have both.. the ATF cooler is in front at my front bumper.. The Oil Cooler Kit is at the side where the original air intake column there. Mechanic mod for me and placed it there.
