I have sent my xbox to the marionet shop in bukit jambul for repair because of freezing issues..it's been almost a month now and i'm waiting for the console to be repaired..is it normal for it to be long to be repaired?

my x-box already 2 months. not getting it yet.i'm wonder why.

i guess its bcoz with all the holiday, should be faster

Usually.....normal repair takes 2~5 days if parts are available.

might be waiting for a replacement part.

for me i fix 1 console about 1 weeks. last time got 8 set so 2months loh.

Anyone can help? When i boot my xbox everything goes fine and i can play games for hours. But its just that, there are texture glitch where i can see white dots appear and disappear on the screen which is distracting like an oldies film from the 50s.

Iam using a falcon, havent really checked the wires/cables behind.

OMG! i always tot fixing takes about 2-4 days. Never realize it will be more than a weeks, is this for real?! you are talking about repairing 3Rod right?
First.. I always worried about the heat/RROD problem while playing (using falcon) and now, another problem appear, the fixing fees and time to wait for it to be fixed.. T_T

Um, after fixed, is there any chance to get RROD again? after how many month? 3-5?

no..its not 3rod..the console hangs after the splash screen..anybody here know why?

Did you use any external coolers? try to take them off and see if it helps

what method is used to repair?..x-clamp replacement?..i brought to tech2 for reballing..only takes 3 days

My 360 still displays the white dots which appear and disappear like the oldies movies. I don't put any external cooling fans.

it's the same as first RROD. nobody know's when it will strike again.

did the ring of light ever appeared red?

No, no rings at all. I can play games perfectly, just that the screen is kinda annoying. White dots appear and disappear every now and then. i think the gpu is fried. But thats just me, i dont know whatelse to think of.

might be sign of overheating or a bad GPU...... the GPU can be replaced with a price of course
