Besides Kampung Baru's Nasi Lemak antarabangsa?
I personally tried the RM1.20 nasi lemak at medan selera jalan 223 at PJ. Not bad
Any more suggestions? Thanks!

I remembered there is one nasi lemak thread probably in kopitiam but dunno where, well start new again...
My favourites: 1) The Village Nasi Lemak beside Joo Ngan Son bicycle shop at Uptown Damansara 2) Subang Jaya Pasar Malam Nasi Lemak kukus Ayam berempah (Also located in few Pasar Malam in Puchong/Subang) 3) Anggerik Kuring Nasi Uduk wth grilled chicken/ ikan lele 4) Puchong jaya old area- road side Nasi Lemak ayam berempah 5) Nasi Ayam Antarabangsa (Abit overated actually  )6) Bumbu Bali/ Waterlily - Nasi Uduk wth ayam panggang Wish list that I din try but sooner: 1) Nasi Lemak Alor Corner (Jln Alor) 2) Madam Kwan...haizz.if only the price cheaper  This post has been edited by stimix: Jan 5 2009, 03:02 PM |

GUYS........ TRY this and you never forget the BEST nasi lemak.
RM1.50 basic. Behind KL ING building, the old St.Mary school in front of MAS building. Only available every weekday 7:15 - 8:30am, after 8:30 SOLD OUT every day. I could say the best out of the best. |

Tried the Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa. I think its overated

Pork Free for The Village, Bumbu Bali, Waterlily (IOI biz park opposite IOI Mall- also owned by Bumbu & Ole-ole bali) & Anggerik Kuring (All inside Malsingmaps/Malfreemaps)..Jln Alor punya no idea...got "+" rating in MSM...& belum cuba-lagi
Others are by Malays so halal-loh.. The one at the Sungai Way area, opposite the highway from Guinness Bhd isn't bad. It's at a corner coffee shop, sold by a chinese auntie in the morning. The biasa version comes with ikan bilis, kacang, egg and potato and long beans curry.

if you guys are going to nasi lemak maybank, remember to ask for more "keropok" if you like the crunchy stuff.

Jombali Nasi Lemak is nice. in Subang, there's also a mamak stall at the corner. I think same row as modernoPC. yeah. that shop nice also. |

Wrong ! The best nasi lemak has got to be Village Park in Damansara Uptown ! Definitely not your typical mamak nasi lemak and thumbs up any time for their fried chicken and kedondong ! and as a bonus, the lady boss is not bad looking mwahahaha |

If you dont mind going to Ampang, there is one small truck selling Nasi Lemak near Ampang Point... I think its one of the best Nasi Lemak you can get... But its only open at night, which is pretty good actually for those late night suppers...

For area Tmn Salak Selatan (Salak South Garden) the best nasi lemak stall is beside 7-eleven weekdays from 7am till 8.30am only.
Pasar Pudu - go the under flyover Jln Tun Razak, on wee hour got many ppl selling pao n kuih muih, sold out by 6.30am! Glenmarie - after toll heading to Shah Alam Rm1.10, look at the right side got Petronas station. NOt far away got 2 malay stall, the stall beside terrace house, their ayam madu quite nice. |

for me. nasi lemak around Klang Valley I tried before so far tak cukup santan. i still prefer nasi lemak from kampung. any kampung.

Taman Paramount behind the Maybank.
I live 2 minutes from that mamak, it's the best I've ever tried. 1) They open till the wee hours of the morning (great for supper) 2) Their chicken and mutton is superb. 3) I love their sambal (sweet type) and they are very generous with it. 4) Their drinks, especially Milo, is fantastic as well. |

wow just tried tanglin nasi lemak and it sucks, think of all the 'famous' nasi lemak its the worst. Rice no santan flavour at all, beef rendang/ayam merah/cuttlefish all tough as rubber.

tried a few listed here, i find Village park to be the best. the place is not certified halal i think, the lady boss looks like chinese but i heard she's married to a malay. abit expensive though the nasi lemak ayam is like rm6.80, but they give you the whole chicken thigh and drumstick.

Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa Kg Baru got a branch in Bangsar. It is located opposite Bangsar Village 2.
There is a restaurant name Little Penang Cafe in KLCC, Midvalley & The Curve, the Nasi Lemak Penang is very nice too, I see lots of people eating it. The cost is RM9.80..with fish & prawns. |

nasik lemak cikgu is overrated...the sambal is watery and very chilli boh tasting...the rice is so so and the fried chicken isn't special...
u want good hot fresh nasi lemak bungkus go to 222 there...super fresh and damn yummy...whack one packet sure end up eating 3 more...plus its cheap...well cheap in klang valley sense...lol...if u go around 4am got friend chicken as well... i was told got nice nasi lemak at old town wet market...but haven't tried myself... The ayam penyet dun served nasi lemak or uduk wan..just plain nasi puteh (RM1.90 also)...super espense nasi losong...The wan in curve lousy & not nais...if u wan better wanm go mentari or Puchong..Ayam penyet Api..much better...but OT lioa..not nasi lemak at all..

Seapark Maybank. Nasi lemak ayam with telur goreng RM4.50. Business starts 6.00pm onwards.
They have moved all the tables and chairs to the back lane behind Maybank, no longer on the main road. No worries, the boss painted the walls of those shops, put potted plant and fans along the back lane. Got uniforms for the staff and they are called "Bumbung" now. Price still remain the same! |

does anyone go here often? i used to go there everyweek to eat nasi lemak. it was good back then. now the service sucks, usually i sat down my drink already been put to my table as i am a regular there.
i donno now it seemed i dislike the environment coz the tables cannot be set at the parking lot anymore. instead it is moved to the back alley of the shop lots. now eating with lipas & cik tikus. so how arr now? u guys agree? |

just found a stall that selling nasi lemak in kg pandan dalam. it called nasi lemak saleha (if i not mistaken). just RM1 for each bungkus. really sumpah sedap( Don't forget to ask for extra sambal hehehe)

the greatest nasi lemak I've had since I was a kid was sold by an auntie/uncle at road side at Jln Hicks (changkat bukit bintang). Now they are gone dunno where. Now the next best nasi lemak I find is at Taman Desa pasar malam, every friday sold by malay family. only 1 stall , the others are nyonya/chinese.

i would recommended nasi lemak in HSBC building.
it located at the same row of the McDonald(at junction of the opposite lot 10 and yayasan selangor), Giordano and watson. go to the HSBC building, u will see the Hong Leong Bank(last time EON Bank) in the last corner shop same row with mcdonald. u can see Arch Arabia Ain, they just sell under the Arch in the morning from 730 am - 9am. their nasi lemak so far is the best in kl town i ever ate. |

Try nasi lemak near tunas manja bukit setongkol... one seller there makcik dan anak perempuan dia... but you wont regretla... variety sambal there n avoid if you dont like spicy... ada sambal kerang,sotong,paru,hati dan begedil.
another one near ikip tok sira there but MANIS LIKE JIALAT |

Not sure if any of u tried the nasi lemak sold by a pakcik in pusat bandar damansara, near Millenium Tower, opposite the 7-11 and bus stop, a small make shift stall with his Proton Saga parked nearby, hes only open in the mornings, been there as long as i can remember...give it a try.There are several stalls there but his' has the longest queue.
NL Antarabangsa and Village Park are overated in my opinion. |

As for myself, I've tried:-
1) Village Park, Damansara - Nice, especially the peparu sambal (a bit pricey though) 2) Nasi lemak Bumbung - ok lah, not bad 3) Nasi lemak antarabangsa - overrated 4) Nasi lemak in front of Medan Selera near Atria (Van style) in Damansara Jaya - the best!! 5) Nasi lemak Jamal Restoran, SS5 - got kangkung which is nice 6) Nasi lemak 223 - Nice taste! 6) Nasi lemak Medan Selera Ss3 (corner shop) - Ok jugak the ayam goreng 7) Nasi lemak Ayam Pandan - William (Taman Megah) - the best ayam pandan ever!! 8) Menara Public Bank's cafe, stall no 3 - the best sambal!! |
