QUOTE(hakunamatata @ Apr 3 2011, 04:11 PM) no. but to make it easy on the wallet, look for old shop house tailors in less upscale places. Any tailor can do something trivial like this. If not, they should just close down.be ready to go to more than 1 tailor, some tailors refuse to do alteration work. |

QUOTE(debbierowe @ Apr 18 2011, 01:03 PM) hm. problem is, this would be the 1st time i alter my dresses, never been to a tailor before You should ask your mum if she knows anyone doing alterations. The older generation tends to know more, esp tailors working from home.normally if i shop at retails, wont have problem |

QUOTE(goliath @ Sep 6 2011, 05:02 PM) I'm pretty sure that you know what type of fitting you like and as how to convey your style to the tailor. No? Besides, they are tailors and I'm sure they know what they are doing. There have been many instances on this thread and on this forum where a tailor made shirt fits worse than something from uniqlo. I'm afraid the sleeve holes will not be alterable. It can be enlarged but cannot be reduced.
