So the fitting session happened last weekend.
Thanks to the people who came. Seeing these pics reminds me of the early days of JT LOL...... Will post more pics soon....not of all who came obviously for privacy reasons. If they can make my plus size friend look good and has a clean back....i am confident.    |

Well, barchetta means little boat. A barchetta pocket is one that is curved like a boat. More difficult to sew.

Barchetta pockets are, of course, a feature associated with Italian suits, in particular Southern Italian ones. Above is a jacket I made in that style featuring no shoulder pads, spalla camicia shoulders, waterfall sleeves and the curved breast pocket. Cloth is Holland & Sherry Crispaire.
