Okay... I just wanna put some info on this as I too bought two unit of this remote controller.
1. Item received in well packaged container. Good and fast delivery. Great work.
2. When I hook the receiver into one of my usb holes, I got the thing to be detected by windows automatically
3. However, only few buttons work. I found out that the device is detected as HID keyboard. After trying a few software I got to conclusion using EventGhost is the simplest way to configure the other controller's buttons. Just take note that when you add "Generic HID' plugin tick the 'raw..." option.
4. After installing the plugin, just remember to add another program control based on what program you are using. For example I used XBMC and Zoom Player so I installed the Program Contol plugin from it. You can configure by doing what I did:-
With the EventGhost program running, press a button on the controller. If the EventGhost successfully captured you pressing the button, on the left window of the EventGhost program you will notice that a new entry will emerge something like "HID.xxx.xxxx". Click on it and try to drag to one of the program control function that are listed such as Play. For example, press the Play button on the controller and drag and drop the emerged command onto the Play feature listed in the program control directory. DO the rest same. You will understand when you do some try and error.
Maybe my informations are not too detailed. If anybody got a better way of explaining then please do so. I am not at my home with my controller so I can't give a detailed information on how it is done.
Just remember, download lastest EventGhost software and install it. Add the plugin and remember to tick the "Raw..." option before proceeding to add in the pop up dialog box. And then you can just start drag and drop the command onto the program controller features that are listed in the directory and you are set to go. Test them!
Good luck on trying em!
