Alright guys, I've actually posted a thread regarding this in audiophile thread but there's no replies from forumers sad.gif

I believe some of the fellow gamers here do have both PS3 & XBOX360 and are using optical cable to get Dolby Digital Sound from respective consoles.... I am having a problem as my old amplifier only have 1 optical input thus there's no more expansion of another optical input. How do I get around with it? Is there a place where I can get an optical cable splitter somewhere? sweat.gif

Bro, I think optical to coaxial needs a converter with adapter... It's quite tedious.

Gundamalpha, mind selling your LOGITECH optical cable selector to me?? drool.gif

I don't think you'd want to buy from me as it's pricey and with lots of function you wouldn't use like S-Video and Scart connectors.. I know they did produce one with optical cable plus component selector, not sure where to find one locally though sad.gif

Why Malaysia so 'ulu' punya... such simple device and it takes miracles to find it sad.gif I guess I'll have to sacrifice Dolby Digital sound for either 1 console then sad.gif cos frequent plug/unplugging the optical cable port might damage the console's port.

The problem is those AV sellers never realized there are other devices that utilize inputs from S-Video and beyond other than DVD/BD players and game sellers don't know many gamers use anything better than composite + stereo cables so it's a situation that left us with so many difficulties

Bro, is it this??

http://www.futureshop.co.uk/high-quality-o...ter-p-1076.html

I dont think it's this that we are needing. This device takes in 1 input so that it can output into 2 difference receivers.

You can try to go Jalan Pasar(before Jalan Pudu) and find for it in the electronic shops there. I've seen a few sold there before, but don't expect anything high-quality.

My friend bought it last year from ebay. With shipping it cost around RM 40. Now he can switch optical inputs from his PS3, 360 and DVD player into his amp.
