Hello guys! I am new here and I really need your advices. I am a JPA scholar and will start my first year as a medical student at Numed this September. But recently I got an offer to do Biomedical Science at King's College London. I was never eager to do medicine because I wanted to do Dentistry instead and I read that you can do dentistry after biomedical science. Is that true?
And if some of you guys are JPA scholars, can you clarify with me whether JPA does sponsor students to do Biomed or not?

All helps are appreciated.Thanks!

A lot of people go into Biomed because they thing "I can go into MBBS/Dentistry/Pharmacy" after this. DO NOT DO THIS.

98.84% percent of the people I have surveyed (n=64) never go on to doing that. So just stop kidding yourself.

That said, King's College is a GREAT opportunity, and without knowing any other context of your position, I'd ask you to seriously consider it, because the opportunities of just being in a college like that will open so many doors for you.

Hey there.

What exactly do you want to know?

As for after grad, you can:
- Lab tech (dx)
- Research (post grad)
- Marketing for pharmas
- Science writers
- Lecturers

BioMed is a stepping stone degree. On its own, you most likely will work in a lab running tests etc, but if you want to go higher will need to either take masters/prostgrad or complementary course/certs.
