Those are all High Definition movies, really.
Only when you fit them onto the media + some encoding, then what do u get? Blu Ray movies and HD-DVD movies. Only HD-DVD died and Blu Ray come up tops. So its just a BD n HDDVD are marketing terms coined to the masses for simplicty. 'Googling' has replaced the word SEARCH on the Internetz nowadays |

Blu Ray movies are HD movies in essence, but stored in BD media. Nowadays in techno-lingo terms are too blurred anyway.

Blu-ray Disc (also known as Blu-ray or BD) is an optical disc storage media format. Its main uses are high-definition video and data storage.
quoted from wikipedia So basically, Blu-ray is just an optical disc. We should rename this forum to All Things About High Defination Video & Audio in Blu Ray This post has been edited by NeedForSpeedz: Jan 7 2009, 12:11 PM |
