err.... what? ps3 cannot play lossless HD sound is it? So even if invest in a good av receiver also no point? Isn't there someway to let the receiver do the decoding for the sound and let the ps3 just do the visuals?

PS3 will decode HD audio and pass them to your AVR as PCM signal. Its limitation is it can't bitstream the HD audio to the AVR. |
