Our wiper is not good enough during heavy rain even with high speed! Currently using Bosch Aerotwin for 6mths edy.
So far so good. Twice a mth clean the windscreen with glass cleaner using newspaper thumbup.gif

i own a 2008 proton persona h-line.. vibration on the accelerator paddle whenever I'm driving at 90km/h (approx. 2500-2800 rpm).. this is proton manufacturing defect.. proton wont admit this.. lousy technical and quality team.. they should change the management, including the MD, Dato' Syed Zainal... My advise... NEVER GO FOR PROTON ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY.. GO FOR 2ND HAND CAR!!!

Last Monday I has sent my persona to COE for normal service & complaints.

Here are the complaints:-

1) Metal Knocking sound while turning at humps / uneven road.
(caused by the power steering hose hitting I don't know what!!! according to the tech.guy,
but the problem was solved no more sound...smile.gif

2) Vibration at steering wheel, accelerator pedal & FR LH pillar when rpm at 2,800.
(kiv., cannot rectify yet. will be done on next appointment)

3) Brake not efficient, slow respond
(done the bleeding brake sys., but it was not solved, kiv. next appoinment)

4) Fuel gauge not accurate after 1/4 will drop fast
(tuned up, still dont see any different from before, will complaint again next appointment)

5) Cannot refill petrol more then 40ltr
(they suspect the fuel neck, already order the part)

6) Back seat got squeaking sound
(adjust the metal hook, not putting the wire tape, problem solved)

7) Room lamp not functioning
(replaced with new one)

8) Power socket not functioning
(fuse blown)

9) Both front power windows got rough noise
(they claimed that they already replaced the regulator, maybe it was true since
the sounds already gone)

10) Power steering oil leak
(refixed the clip)

11) Rear drum brake noise
(service brake)

12) Front wheel got scratching sound during drive slowly
(both front wheel bearing replaced)

This is the first time i went to COE, before this i sent my persona to PESC Desa Tun Razak.
Some of the above problem cannot be solved by the PESC Desa Tun Razak.
After a few complaint with proton i-care they refer my case to COE.

Hi bro, since I never go to service my car at the COE there, so do u think i can just make an appointment to fix the weird sound like yours for my car?
*
Yes you can. Better call Proton i-care to fix an appointment.

QUOTE(overfloe @ Jun 18 2009, 07:27 PM)
i hope more owners can she the light about this problem. a lot of ppl suffer this problem but SC said dunno.. vmad.gif

i have heard they change the hose to a non-metal one.. but when I go to SC in PJ, they say it won't solve the problem mad.gif
*
Not sure about that. But mine the sound is totally gone.

QUOTE(! Love Money @ Jun 18 2009, 08:43 PM)
i also wanna know the solution for this issue vmad.gif

and for the vibration at 2.8k rpm nothing can be done coz it is a trademark for persona sweat.gif

and i seldom complain about this coz the price for this car is very bargaining oledi cool.gif
*
The vibration is at acceptable. But since i went to COE i just do the complaint. The problem still not solve yet.
Have to wait for the next appointment, will see whow the SC will tackle this problem.

now my 1 month old SE rear side got "eeeaakkk" sound when driving on rough road....dont know is what cause this sound, i wonder if it is Absorber???it just sound like some plastic thingy loosen....anyone experieced this?
*
Maybe it was your rear seat metal hook. Ask SC to adjust the metal hook instead of putting the wire tape.
Mine also have this problem before.

the temp control is abit confuse, lets make it easy.

when you turn it to left = Cold

when you turn it to right = Hot
*
To be precise... min= minimum tempreture, 16degree celcius (cold) &
max= maximum tempreture 30 degree celcius (hot)

Guys and gals,

Just wondering, what type of additional car security items you all have? Can recommend any reliable locks?

Thanks.

I'm not so sure which is good and bad. But currently I'm using Stoplock.
