plan to change it b4 but after heard the steering button cant function after change i stoped.

sent my persona to SC this afternoon to repair my steering.got sound when cornering "kok,kok,kok" .after 4 hours repairng still got sound.they asked me to send back tomoro morning 4 whole day to change the part inside.need to take off the bumper & mug guard bla..bla..bla...
haiz...proton...repaired 2 times b4 oso same.tired of send bek to SC edi.my poor persona.repair more then service.

mine totally worse then yours.i can hear with my radio on & even can feel some things is hitting inside my steering.

as i know from friend saga blm price increased rm1500 started on 1st jan 2009 but duno about persona current price.my friend heard it from proton when he booked the Gen.2 last month.

ya.even gen.2 got rm2k discount oso.

what i know is the discount is until end of this January only.just ask the SA this evening when my friend go make appointment for test drive the Gen.2 CPS.for Gen.2 iafm got rm4k discount.Gen2 CPS rm2k discount while persona i not sure coz my friend dun wan to drive same car with me so he didnt ask.

Added on January 6, 2009, 5:58 pmmy steering problem solved. .but wat i happy is my car still under warranty.very very lucky.coz i had done some light mod n even changed the muffler.lucky not need pay anything.

er...havent test yet.need wait 1-2 days coz the Gen2.cps not ready yet as the SA said even the car stick with test drive sticker is in front of me.becoz havent register.

Just test drive the Gen.2 CPS auto this afternoon.really so powerful.even the respond in low rpm oso so good.the SA ask me to give some negative point about the car i just dunno wat to said anymore.the power is perfect from low rpm to high rpm.after drive the CPS,now i felt my persona really under power even had do some light mod on it. .have to find 4-2-1 extractor for my persona to improve my low rpm respond.
as i heard from the SA,Gen2 CPS auto is better respond then manual CPS.tats y all 'Polis Penyiasat" waja cps all use auto.because PDRM had done a research on it b4 they place order with proton.

Place a special order.ask proton to fit CPS in persona ur order since same installation with non cps.if not u dun wan to buy.c wat the SA respond.

Anyone can tell me is it the 4-2-1 extractor really can help the car's pick up?just found a 4-2-1 extractor for my persona but a bit expansive.so really wanna double confirm it worth to change or not.can some1 pls give some advice?wanna improve pick up coz i always driving uphill.

er...as i know if the loan haven't approve mean u don't have a bank's letter for register a new car.which JPJ won't entertain if u go there without the letter.n JPJ do no booking number but just blocking numbers when u submit the bank letter only

Just to share my persona mod with u all.i installed a new 4-2-1 extractor(F-1 Brand) for my persona this morning.what i felt the different after changed is the pick up.....wow....so good!!!improve a lot.wat i done is change the original extractor to 4-2-1 and muffler only.maintain the original piping.

Now no more slow pick up with my persona.Felt like CPS in my persona

the price i get is a bit expansive as i in sabah.rm330 include installation.i saw in motor trader(books) there is rm160 include installation fee in k.l but not sure what brand.mine is F-1 brand which is calculated extractor.some cheap extractor is not calculated so will lose power n loud sound after install.

i had done voltage stabilizer,ground wire,platinum plug,power air flow fan,air cleaner...those all not improve your car's pick up.so don't waste those money.wan pick up go change extractor 4-2-1.i'm sure u will felt the different.

FC still in calculate as i just install it.will get back to u all after it.

u can hear a sound like more air push out from ur stock muffler if u maintain ur stock muffler after change.but i changed my muffler to 5zigen(jasma) b4 but oso no loud sound using the new extractor.my fren get shocked with my new extractor sound.coz not noisy at all just a big louder sound.he expect my car gonna be noisy after change the extractor but no.

i tried 5-40 10-40 15-50 20-50 b4.but i felt 10-40 is ok with campro.5-40 normaly is fully synthetic sure will very expansive.10-40 semi synthetic is ok.

really not loud.u can use ur original muffler 1st if want.but i'm sure u cant get 100% power from ur new extractor if do so as the oem muffler block quit a lot gas out.but u do can try change extractor 1st but maintain the oem muffler.i'm sure u got improvement by using oem muffler oso.if use oem muffler sure they like oem muffler sound only.but if wan change muffler make sure its Jasma approve n not make in local.those local i'm sure u will regret of it noisy sound.this is wat my mechanic told me.now my car engine more smooth compare to b4.engine sound more quite now.

the improvement...ya quit alot.i can simply "buang" my fren vios in traffic light now.for normal driving i normally change gear at 4k rpm but now 3rpm i can change edi.u can feel the improvement from 2k rpm-5k rpm respond after change.
