Hi guys! An M-line irridescent white persona-owner-to-be here...hopefully at least. Waiting for loan approval, submitted on Friday. Keeping fingers crossed...

Just called Proton this afternoon for confirmation, they told me that 'Genetic Silver' for Persona is actually the same as 'Irridescent White'. Just that the name is changed. weird... 

Yes I agree.  I recently sent my car for the 1st 1000 km service and was charged 2.58 (if not mistaken) for the stupid plug, which is basically a hex head bolt which you can buy new for 20 or 30 cents.  I have been driving cars since 1993 and have never never ever changed a plug and this car is only 2 weeks old and they have the cheek to say that a brand new plug needs changing (if it was ever changed in the 1st place).

And to top it all, now I found out the oil filter's leaking and making a mess of my porch.

And don't get me started about the Magnetrap (or Magnecrap) thingy which they forced on me for RM68.00.  After all, since when aluminum particles from the engine block stick to magnets????? Perfect idiots, are we?

One thing I gotta hand it to them, they really know how to fleece you.

I had a nice talk with the SC manager and insisted that in the future I will only pay for engine oil and filter and nothing more. 

No plugs
No additives
No expensive "engine treatment"
No Magnecraps
No nothing!

I will no longer tolerate any other scams from them! 

Im thinking of getting the persona se. Downpayment aside, how much do I have to pay each month?
