Our answer to your question is that SOME games or programs will NOT have a shortcut in Start Menu.

Happens to me also. If it appears in the Game folder, then it wont appear in the start menu and vice versa. If I want to start the game as administrator, dont know how to do it for those fail to appear in start menu. In game folder, if I right click on the game, it does not give me an option to start it as administrator. Only those appear in Start Menu have this option. Why?

If your copy of game is original, it's supposed to be appeared in the "Games" folder instead of in start menu & desktop. It's not a bug, it's a Vista's "feature". sweat.gif

I've installed an original version of Fifa '09 and there's nothing in Games folder. However, when I installed Halo, the shortcut appeared in Games.
