Newbie lite OC, Asus P5KPL-AM + C2D E7300

Hi,
Until today, I have never oc'ed my system before. My old system died and I got this new system then I saw this 'overclock profile' under my bios. Out of curiosity, I set to to +5% then +10 and both worked. However, system won't boot when I set it to 15%. Error code saying something to do with voltage. Can someone teach me how to run it over 3.0GHz? I am using cheapo PSU and stock heatsink, plus a pair of 1GB value ram pc800. thanks a lot. |

Anyway,ready made OC profile is just not stable for oc.
And before you begin to oc,you have to learn about ram divider and urs CPU's architecture oc method.Like AMD and Intel are different right?You know... Try to checkout from some thread which posting some guide in C2D oc. |

Im also a newbie same like you, but i think.. Stock heatsink is not enough! =.= Anyway, im using E7200, yo neighbour.
