i know this sounds like a noob question, but i jus knew abt the DSi, is it sold in malaysia yet? and how much is it?? how to play all the previous DSlite games???

1. should be sold in m'sia already..about the price, you need to enquire by yourself.
2. yes, DSi can play ds games, ds lite also can play ds games. it's just like DS and DS lite. ds lite can play ds games. the difference is just the console looks different..(dsi has more functions than a ds lite.)

you also forget that DSi is region-locked when it comes to DSiWare and possibly DSi-only cartridges. But so far don't have DSi-only cartridge games yet.
