keyboards above RM300 sure got midi in/out (or simply usb output to communicate with your computer with midi) so can act as midi controller.

a midi controller = keyboards without built in sound.

but why you deleted his 2nd post? blink.gif

i just bought m-audio keystation 88es recently. not a bad keyboard, for the price it's OK. but i suggest to opt for the keystation 88sx instead as it has velocity curve setting and fixed velocity output, and has got some sound too (although sux hard but still useable for live performances). the 88es is fixed curve but you need to bang the keys to get high velocity hit.

i saw his 2nd post, but not his first post. and you did answer his post anyway.

i got it for RM1000. still expensive, but i need it urgently and yet i don't have enough money to spend on yamaha. maybe going to sell it very very soon when i have the money to invest on the yamaha. biggrin.gif

maybe will sell it like around RM800 or little lower...i guess...or just keep it as spare keyboard... hmm.gif
