QUOTE(Panda12 @ Jan 11 2009, 09:11 PM) sorry im late. what's endothermic reaction and exothermic reaction? ok just picture it. endothermic reaction = inhaling. the graph go upwards because you are inhaling. and the temperature decreases because you're inhaling air into your body. exothermic reaction = exhaling. the graph goes downwards because you're exhaling air. the temperature increasing because warm air is exhaled out from your body that is how i remember them. hope you understand. haha. are u a f5 this year? so fast reach der edi wan =,= wat school u guys frm anyway?

QUOTE(Shah_15 @ Jan 21 2009, 06:05 PM) I still don't have any clue on how to sketch the graph... u've gotta find the x-int and y-int and the min point. the graph should be reflected on the x-axis if i'm not mistaken so it will look pretty weird. as for the domain, its just a domain whr u just get the 2 points and the graph is between em

hey guys i've got a chem ques regarding carbon compound. as i've only studied till ester, do correct me if i'm wrong.
in daily life, coconut oil is hydrogenated to increase its melting point by saturating it with hydrogen. In chem properties of alkene, alkene is hydrogenated to form alkane right? but i thought alkene shd have a higher melting point since its got double bond? or does it work differently for lipid?

QUOTE(IamjustME @ Feb 28 2009, 01:07 PM) Aiks. I saw "decreasing", not "increasing". My bad. Thanks for pointing it out. So, @vick5821 The real solution is here. [attachmentid=823326] You can work out (b) from the information you have worked out in (a). By the way, what is in Chapter 9? so vick5821, is that the correct ans? @IamJustMe izit possible to do it without physics solution? coz i suppose u derived the eqn Vp=10+2t from physics.

omg what kind of ques is that? =.= are u sure its not physics ques? cz a ques of motion in addmaths WITHOUT providing any form of eqn is INVALID. at least in SPM

QUOTE(IamjustME @ Feb 28 2009, 08:57 PM) Are you sure? P starts at 10 m s -1 and its velocity is increased since then. Answer is definitely not 10 m s -1. Have you received the wrong answer? And, your solution. [attachmentid=823970] Anything is possible in SPM. Physics may come in Add Maths but Add Maths will not come in Physics. i'm afraid i hav to disagree. 1stly, if physics turn up in addmaths, arts stream students will be ripping their hair off their heads. 2ndly, i've applied addmaths in physics and chemistry calculations.

QUOTE(Elven @ Mar 19 2009, 02:05 AM) Eh how did he get his paper with all those markings and fresh 'contengan'? I'd love to have my English paper and see what the markers had conteng. Solve the quadratic equation first and find it's roots by using one of the three methods u've learnt (via formula/factorisation/completion of squares). Then, use the formula to form ur own quadratic equation something like (sum of roots)x+(product of roots)y=0. Sorry, I dont quite remember about the formula, do correct me if im wrong. And yeah, I havent solved ur question just yet. i dont understand the reciprocal part
