Just read your case. No worries girl, everyone does encounter such problem as you after PMR unless that person has done his/her revision before school reopens. When I first joined in the upper form in science stream, it's a total shock as it was my first time approaching to the brand new syllabus and new science subjects such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Add.Maths.

Firstly, add.maths brought all of us crazy. rclxub.gif Majority students failed Add.Maths except 1-4 students. We seriously need professional help and mental guidance cry.gif and everyone was thinking to drop Add.Maths but our school didn't allow us to do that. Chem is alright for all of us. I am weak in Physics subject with other students as well. Similar as add.maths, about 4-6 ppl have passed. So some of them have decided to drop Physics next year (2009).

I ever have the "initiative" to drop physics as I have a hard time getting over it and I worried it will ruin my cert. I gave myself sometime by betting whether I may continue to keep Physics for SPM by looking at my chances of a "pass" in Physics. In that year, there's 2 assessments and 2 examinations for Form 4. If I have at least 2 passes over 4 examinations/assessments in Physics, then I will move on and take Physics for SPM. I passed in the first assessment, and the 2 following exam/assessment got me failed. I was about to give up. In the end, I couldn't believe I passed Physics in my final exam. I found out I am "ok" with paper 1 and 3. Paper 2's the one who made me failed. doh.gif And yeah, I am taking Physics no matter how sucks I am and I am moving on, not giving up and aiming maximum a B3 would be ideal.

You would wonder why am I so dumb to take Physics although I only managed to get through the "borderline"?

I wish I could drop Physics and Add.Maths. I have less worries on Add.Maths compare to Physics because I have attended Add.Maths tuition and concentrate to the fullest during Add.Maths class. The outcome? Not bad, got a B3 in the 3 exams after I have failed Add.Maths for the first time during first assessment. People would have thought, "A person who's can handle Add.Maths and Maths are going to do well in Physics", for my case it's a lil different. To do well in Physics, I need more "personal attention" to love this subject and recently I got my school Physics teacher to teach me and a few of my friends as a study group after school once a week because in school, I can sense that I am lack of concentration learning Physics in school due to many students are making troubles. Well, that's my opinion. Although no one hates Chemistry, but seriously, we kinda forget the basics xD. Bio is alright for me but still, I have to maintain my best effort to maintain the best grades I can get. brows.gif

Think on a brighter side. If you are taking important science subjects you do not like, you can always drop it as you wish, but not during SPM. If you drop the subjects now, you will not have the foundation/basic of the subjects, meaning you have "zero" knowledge on these subjects, resulting you have almost 0% to get a degree that's requires these subjects. As an example, you cannot take Engineering if you have no SPM Physics and Add.Maths. Even if you have no interest in some job fields now, who knows during future you can have your "backups" to save you from being sorry. nod.gif

My advice after all the crap lecture: biggrin.gif

In my conclusion, you should stay with the subjects you are learning which truly helps you in your future. If you are in science stream, keeping staying and work extra harder on the subjects you are weak in since you have not decide what field you will be in future. Easy to score or scoring SPM in flying colours is not a main issue. The important fact you have to remember is take up important subjects that you might need them for future, no matter how much you love or hate it. A credit (C6 and above) for your SPM subjects is sufficient enough for you to secure a degree and more jobs you can apply with. After SPM, you can always drop the subjects you cannot cope with. As long as you get over with the subjects during SPM, the rest will be not be any much hassle for you for future tertiary education in case you have changed your mind on which course you are going to enrol. thumbup.gif

This is my final year studying History, PA, Physics and Add.Maths. 2 years of suffer. Soon I will miss it. xD . Hope I can get over Physics and Add.Maths with satisfying marks.

*Cheers*. Hope it helps. notworthy.gif

what i mean is that u can choose watever field in the future..not like in the art stream, choices r limited while for science stream students, they can take up engineering, medical or any thing like business...

don't like eco and add maths..xD
Do you like to draw or ICT then?
You may take Art, ICT etc.

I'm was a pure science student last year and I took economics and account as extra subjects.
Hmm, I do agree with others saying that science students have a wider field in the future,
as business subjects are easier to catch up with.
6A2B is not too bad, you can cope with those subjects if you work on them.

How could you go for business or banking field if you don't like accounting and economics?

Either science or art, interest is the 1st thing you have to consider.
Other than science and art, is there anything you like?
Like ERT , lukisan kejuruteraan, ICT and so on.

Now is only Feb, add maths is not as hard as you think.
If you can catch up the syllabus and practice always, you can score well.
If you really can't, you can drop some subjects when you register for SPM subjects in form5.

It won't be a waste for science student to go for art stream.
Those things we have learned came to be our knowledge.
We have more knowledge than others.
Everyone has to be more competitive and there is nothing like PURE science or PURE art student,
we must have some extra knowledge to heighten our value. biggrin.gif

interest- im not interested in econs and acc. sc subjects are...normal.no dislike or like.

Dunno whether I should post this or not since we had oredy reaffirmed the answer.
Well, for everyone's beneficial I guess?

M1V1 = M2V2
0.1x25 = M2x3.5
M2 = 0.071428571

.:. 0.071428571 mol/dm3
0.071428571 = mol / 35x10^-3
mol = 2.5x10^-3

That is why the answer should be D; the diluted water will only reduce the concentration of HCl but not the mol
