i wonder why XL didnt announce the arrival of ironman in their website....?? seems a bit unofficial... they normally update their shipment arrival in light speed...
It is on their scrolling tab....

what i meant was before they change the design of their forum, non-member of the forum can still go to the pre-order topic. With the new design, pre-order topic do not appear unless you log in....i find that sometimes they dont put certain pre-order items into their main site but in the pre-order topic only. Example HT Hellboy.
HT Hellboy was never posted on the pre-order topics (nor was the price officially posted).... but, I claim to be first one who posted/was quoted, the promo/prototype pics on the Hot Toys topic thread

On Chun-li apparently she has hard plastic bumps on her chest but her body is rubbery, not unlike Hot Toys' Hot Angels body (a simple sculpt, inside out version)..

ok guys, is it true all ironman from XL first batch got the leg defect? not sure what it means but leg defect because yesterday my brother collected from BTS outlet and he was told all first batch got the same leg defect. i way too far here so didnt get to see it yet. hope you guys can help me clarify it.
Most probably is the flap behind the legs defect....
[pics from toy-world hk]
which can be pop out as I had suggested..., however the mistake in moulding the hinge "thingy" is not an easy fix, as the "thingy" only goes in one way. So Hot Toys could ship a remoulded "thingy" with a switch hinge end.. or DYI your own "thingy"

another reported defect... missing silvery thing in the 3rd hole... reported in toy-world hk..

I would say use forseps to pinch the batteries out of MK3...

Lets see I went through Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, KL airports in one go with my multiple camera/camcorder/lenses electrionics with batteries (more or less 8 to 10kg)

rather expensive of a "failed movie" figure at RM468... but with the sculpt done by Hiroki Hayashi-san (famous for full body realistic GK kits, hailing from Japan, but he did do a few realistic Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich among others...)

As promised, I'll review the lighting mechanisms of the Fe Man.

The instructions, (with at least one mistake, refering the leg as a missile). 9 batteries and 4 LEDs in figure, 3 batteries AG9 (LR45) to light the eyes and the chest. 3 AG1 (LR60) in each upper arm to power the repulsor hands. The LEDs are lighted by 4.5v.
user posted image

The transparent neck post seems to be only able to move back and forth, not sideways. White plastic in the head refects the light to exit through the eye openings, the LED is actually enclosed in the ball joint.
user posted image

Simple hand ball joint with an opening at the end to allow the light through (whch is actually the top of the LED) . As the batteries is in the upper arm, wires/coductors had to be snaked through the elbow joint to the LED in the forearm's ball joint. This in away limit the articulation of elbow bend to about 70 to 75% and it likely being a single joint instead of double in TT body.
