Hi guys, it's end of Financial Year Sale here ... So I just dcided to reward myself a lil... 1. Canali Burgundy Tie.... got it since I liked the looks and about 40% off.
2.Lacoste Red Polo
3. Hugo Boss Ties... got em in the bargain rack a few days ago...
4. Milana Cashmere Lined Dark Brown Leather Gloves. An inhouse Brand to David Jones. Italian made, but was being phased out for 3M thinsulate lined ones. Given that they were trying to clear it out at almost what a typically Made in China one will sell here for, I thought I should just snap one up.
Tried on a few OTR suits but fitting was horrid and RM3K+?? forget it.....

QUOTE(FusioneX @ Jun 13 2010, 04:45 PM) Definitely a nice haul there, 3ff3z8e. May I know how much does that pair of gloves cost and where you bought it from, if you do not mind sharing? Sure, it's originally AUD$100 (RM280??) but was 30% off so about $70 there was a slight black blemish near the wrist (not noticable unless you take a close look..) but was the last size 8 gloves...so I convinced the sales assitant to knock off a further $10. End result about AUD$60. It's from one of the department stores here in Australia called David Jones.. I'd have to admit though, although they do get some good stuff here, selections can be limited and stores here are waaay smaller than the malls in KL... Can't wait for the next time the ticket fares to KL go down.... it's been a while since I've visited home... The ones lined with 3M thinsulate materials are a little cheaper at AUD$70, but they felt rather cheap as well....they're doing the same with the scarves as well... one model I bought last year had a 60% cashmere 40% virgin wool mix, this year had the same design, but the composition was altered to 70% virgin wool and 30% cashmere..... I think they're starting to cut corners..... This post has been edited by 3ff3z8e: Jun 13 2010, 08:30 PM

QUOTE(lawl @ Jun 14 2010, 12:46 AM) In aussie? Need spare some time tomorrow to check out. But, Im in Adelaide. I havent seen a Lacosta shop. Hmm, not too sure about Lacoste shops in Adelaide...... but I would recommend checking David Jones or Myer. It's usually a lil more cheaper there compared to Lacoste Boutique shops. The model I got is called "Omar" which has a slim italian fit. I had to buy a Medium because of that. If pricing is the same across the board then the model I have will be about $71, it's a little more expensive in the boutiques about $79. Make sure that the David Jones/ Myer you go to is large enough though... I heard fom a friend that he was looking for em as well in Chermside, Brisbane.... but they don't stock lacoste there This post has been edited by 3ff3z8e: Jun 14 2010, 01:16 AM

QUOTE(Grimm @ Jun 14 2010, 03:53 AM) Dude how much for the ties? I can't wait to finish exams and go hit up Melbourne city for some financial year end sale. Gotta get some stuff before July. Its now or never. Most of the Canalis are about $95 - $99 from $170- $180, Hugo's go around $80. If you have an Armani Collezioni stand in the local David Jones, the ties should go for around $99. Didn't bother checking the Emporio armani ties. Hopefully the closer they'll get more desperate closer to the 30th of June and have further cuts.
