Buying from Mr Porter is very promising indeed, item arrive after 4 days since date of order. I got this with free DHL express shipping (theres a code...) and it was much cheaper than anywhere else in the world. Also I realised that Mr Porter is cheaper to buy from Australia than Malaysia, United States and United Kingdom. How could I not resist to have one when it was the last one in my size laugh.gif . I have a happy ending with my Spring Summer 2012 haul, manage to tick most of my wish-list.
*
Mr Porter is indeed good at pricing...they have the cheapest prices among all and the variety they carry is great...not to mention their sales are crazy...but they always seem to not stock the colours i want!!! tough luck

Finally after almost a year, I got these extremely rare Balmain Suede Ranger Boots from the Fall Winter 2011 collection, that were completely sold out RRP$$$$ everywhere. Never would I know that they would be on eBay brand new, i'm so happy I got them for such a good bargain, still can't believe it!

not bad....is it suede? I've often wondered how do people keep such shoes clean...since the bottoms are suede as well...walking through our dirty streets...they'll soak up dirt like a sponge

^So many cedar shoe trees *_*

Mr Porter is the best. I complained and fussed about in an email and the customer service team responded immediately and gave me free premiere shipping to Australia, even though I purchased via their US-only website.

Mr Porter goods coming soonâ„¢.

Some stuff from YOOX also coming soonâ„¢.

3rd package coming soonâ„¢ from SSENSE but those bastards didn't give me any tracking.... and I paid $50 for shipping too!
*
in terms of service yes mrporter is the best...i agree...very quick response

Excuse me bro, not a cent of my clothes come from my parents wink.gif Haha. They only took care of my tuition fees - which is a shitload of coin.

I had part time jobs as a student. Now I'm working full time already, that is why I'm slowly beefing up my wardrobe. I don't have to spend on the working basics yet, because the company culture is super casual so yeah.

Will be a pain when I switch to the finance houses though.

Btw,  SSENSE shipment arrived from Canada. Will open and post  tmr.

working in australia part time can already stock up anyone's wardrobe quite well....if only it was the same back home =) McDonald's for 21 AUD/hr...here...RM 4.50...pathetic

21 aud is around RM66. wow, that is a lot. 8 hours a day, 20 days a month, can already get RM10k+.
*
I'm not that sure...I know that's on call...like 4 hours 3 or 4 times a week...never worked when I was there...but heard from the people there

Buy from endless.com and have it ship within the USA using a parcel forwarding company. Cole Haan is not a luxury brand, not worth buying in Malaysia. Overpriced
*
alternative options are purchasing the shoes from cole haan official site through the help of forum members running shopping services...ebay is another option but because these cole haan lunargrands are somewhat special...sellers tend to hike up the prices by a big margin

Got taxed the first time buying from Malaysia. Didn't know Malaysian Customs actually includes the postage chargers... Zzzzz, if not I would have gotten away with it!

Givenchy Green Fighter Airplane Oversized T-Shirt Pre-Spring 2013

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Anyway, if anyone is interested in the super rare Givenchy Red Fighter Airplane Oversize T-Shirt (above) with those fancy shiny black stars, you can contact me at ask.drblogspot@gmail.com. A friend of mine in UK is selling it brand new with Luisa Via Roma tags attached, size S. Asking price is RM4,500 non-negotiable including tracking postage and COD anywhere in PJ. This t-shirt was sold out within a few minutes at SSENSE.
*
as much as they are not my style...i understand the appeal of givenchy clothing....but i can't help but think how fast it would be out of fashion/season and for one to get bored of it....but i guess a large part of the appeal is due to the fact that it's the latest trend....ZARA does offer some cheaper alternatives though...as always...star t shirts...botanicals...religious symbols ala givenchy style

Oh no, I dont think you understand Givenchy or luxury fashion as much as you think so.
*
anyway, no offense. Hope you were not offended by my comments, just a matter of differing opinions. You do look great in them givenchys, t-shirts like these don't look good on bigger guys, takes a certain attitude and style to pull it off. Peace!
