Finally unboxed some winders for my watches. Almost forgotten that I've ordered them.
Seemed to sit well with my current grey units |

I have been wanting to get a pair of raw black jeans but can’t seem to lay my hands on one. I am rather choosy, I admit. My last black jeans was a pair of Levi’s Super Black Big E that I procured when I was a teenager.
Until recently the Nudie Thin Finn Dry Cold Black caught my eyes but it always ran out of my size. By chance, Cultizm was having a 15% off and free international shipping promo during CNY, and this pair was available in my size. Resistance is futile. They said. QUOTE(absorb-d @ Mar 5 2019, 10:05 PM) Lol. I was actually looking at A.Lange & Sohne last year. But got invited to the Vacheron Constantin Fifty Six party and there the DayDate caught my eye. I wanted a dressier watch as I think I have the sports watches I wanted. It's a nice change from Rolex, no games and no waiting lists. This model is a nice departure from VC's dressier line and is pretty versatile for both formal and casual occasions. Also VC is perhaps less recognisable to the public and safer to wear wihout attracting attention. I doubt many know of VC except those in the know |

This parcel came in a while ago, placed this order to take advantage of the free shipping, and also to get something for my little princess:
My all-time-favourite online store: (Almost) bullet-proof packaging to withstand the monkey-handling of our customs: Ta-daa! A London Undercover brolly in whangee handle for the princess: (Another) Fred Perry x Arktis in my size - XS. I bought one not too long ago but it was a size too big (if anyone is interested in this one, please PM me. It is in Small size). Also I am stocking up on Aesop Control whenever I can - did i ever mention to you that this goodie is banned in Malaysia because it has the word 'Control'? Little Napoleons are still everywhere in Malaysia: I can't get enough of water tumbler (and umbrella). This one, in matted black, will go well with my newly acquired SAV: This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Mar 17 2019, 07:55 PM |

I admit I am a little obsessed with the home scent, and when come to incense stick, Kuumba is good in my book. They are quite querky when come to naming their products - Adult Only, X Tape, Wet Dreams, Sex On The Beach and so on.
Thus, when Trojan Records (read: skinhead) and Carhartt collaborated with Kuumba, I gave them my money: Kuumba x Carhartt x Trojan Records bamboo incense sticks: A few months ago, I procured the Kuumba x Neighborhood incense sticks from the END Clothing. As usual, a family photo: This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Apr 7 2019, 03:22 PM |

These three insignificant hauls were procured via Massdrop, and thanks to Massdrop, I finally able to sample these incense pyres by Blackbird.
A little black history about the Blackbird: it started off as a men's wear select shop based in Seattle, and was known as Blackbird Ballard back then, bringing in articles by Odyn Vovk, CDG, Filson, APC, Eastland Made in Maine, Quoddy.......in short, good stuffs. Then it spun off to produce in house incense pyres, and later became the no. 1 selling product. So it decided to shut down the men's wear department and focus only on incense pyres. I have been following this establishment since 2010 but never gotten the chance to procure or sample any of the product due to the nasty shipment cost until recently. And hence, three tins at one go. Again, I am cheap - I will take advantage of any free shipping promo whenever I can, especially those with express or priority shipping. Nonetheless, it comes with a price - more often than not you will be slapped with a tax. As opposed to Royal Mail, in which it will take a while to reach but normally you will skip the tax. This one, by DHL, of course was slapped with 3 digits tax:

Hi to all sifus, may I know how long usually Mr Porter delivery timeframe is?
I just made a purchase from Mr Porter (well it's my first time) on 6/4, just a small shoulder bag for £60. |

QUOTE(edriclim @ Apr 8 2019, 11:25 AM) Hi to all sifus, may I know how long usually Mr Porter delivery timeframe is? Mostly within a week. I find that orders made during the weekend would take some time to dispatch.I just made a purchase from Mr Porter (well it's my first time) on 6/4, just a small shoulder bag for £60. After it is out with the courier, it is up to our customs in terms of clearance speed. |

QUOTE(edriclim @ Apr 8 2019, 11:25 AM) Hi to all sifus, may I know how long usually Mr Porter delivery timeframe is? Mr Porter is best. When they ship out, both DHL and Mr Porter will notify you when the parcel will reach you in your email and sms . And they usually deliver on that date . I just made a purchase from Mr Porter (well it's my first time) on 6/4, just a small shoulder bag for £60. Buying from Mr Porter since 2017 and the returns and credit are all done very promptly. Delivery wise is perfect. |
