An unplanned haul whilst attending a corporate event this afternoon. I have been looking for this avaiator tech in gray gradient (RB 8307/004-32) for quite a while. The arms are made of carbon fiber, a lot more lighter than my the other classic aviator, the RB 3025.

Comparing with my 10-year old RB3025, this aviator tech has a darker shade of grey (with flash):

The case has this carbon fiber motif. I still prefer the old case.

I decided that I need a bigger luggage since I foresee myself to be spending more time overseas next year due to work.

Comparing to my existing Samsonite's Cosmolite, it is about 2 inches higher:

I think I have made a mistake for procuring the largest from this series....

Nice!  Still ballin' outta control I see.
Glad to see things are still the same here.  Heheh.

---------------

Do they have these in M'sia?  I just got mine in the mail and was thinking - all of the spending one does on these luxury items are tracked by the worlds credit card companies.

Anyways, I'll be sure to post my latest haul's but wow there are some rich guys posting on this thread.  I don't think I'll be able to keep up!

I am very much particular on Fred Perry articles, considering my closet is stuffed (really stuffed) and as a matter of fact, I am expecting a MIJ Fred Perry coming from UK. Stay tuned.

On the side note, I am really a small timer. There is nothing fancy in my wardrobe; only necessities.

I finally made it.

I had a half-day window in my recent business trip, a luxury that didn't come by easily. I made a trip down to this Monocle shop (http://www.monocle.com/) situated at St Francis street. It wasn't an easy assignment to locate this shop for a first-timer.

Coming back with these.

The black tote and summer notebook are freebies for one-year subsription.

Monocle x Comme des Garcons Scent One: Hinoki. Very woody. And dark, an element you would expect in any Comme des Garcons' fragrance.

Drake's x Monocle pocket squares. Made of wool and silk, very light and porous. The red one apparently is the best seller. It was the last one in the shop.

However the most unexpected haul is this.

A few years ago a friend, who is a French, gave me a soap bar made by this company, Marius-Fabre (http://www.marius-fabre.com/fr/). This company has been doing the same old thing for the past 110 years - producing soap. I would never thought I can find one here as it wasn't reflected in Monocle's online store.

I am definitely going back for more.

Added on December 9, 2012, 7:44 pmBtw, coleur, I dig all your Balmain shit. Care to share pics of some of your shoes/sneakers/boots with me?

I'm looking at either a Givenchy, KVA, Balmain for a black patent leather high top to go with my Diors - none of my shoes (save for dress shoes) go with them atm.

Excuse me bro, not a cent of my clothes come from my parents wink.gif Haha. They only took care of my tuition fees - which is a shitload of coin.

I had part time jobs as a student. Now I'm working full time already, that is why I'm slowly beefing up my wardrobe. I don't have to spend on the working basics yet, because the company culture is super casual so yeah.

Will be a pain when I switch to the finance houses though.

Btw,  SSENSE shipment arrived from Canada. Will open and post  tmr.

And everything in between?

Seriously though, what is said earlier by certain parties is rather uncalled for in my opinion. I get this thread is about exhibiting your online splurges or whatever, but to set certain rules and question motive and source of acquisition? Some are feeling rather insecure, no? Maybe whoever started this topic should change the title to "Look at how loaded I am and the expensive clothes I buy, try to one-up me shall you?"
I shall observe in amusement. Back to the thread...
*
I can't comprehend why the thread starter, in this case, yours truly, would need to amend the title when you are having disagreement with some forum members here? Furthermore, I have laid down the principles of this thread in the very first page. Perhaps, you could start another thread with the title described by you?

Oh, the vanity. You do realize it's a non-invocation. Or maybe not. Maybe the concept of sarcasm completely eludes you, lowest denominator and all that. And in any case perhaps I'm not the one you should be speaking to given your "thread principles".
Anyways do proceed, don't let me interrupt your thread. I bid you well my dear man.

I was at Singapore during the long weekend that coincided with two public holidays - don't you just love Malaysia? I dropped by the Escentials, Tangs Orchard last Friday, browsing through an array of fragrances and candles, attended by a very nice and polite young lady. She, a Singaporean, kept on bringing out all the fragrances and candles until I had to ask her to cease. She told me it was ok. We chatted for quite a few hours and I sampled almost half of the Serge Lutens, Creed and a couple of Amouage, CDG and L'Artisan.

I ended up getting a bottle of Fille en Aguilles by Serge Lutens. My initial intention was to sample the Five O'Clock Au Gingembre and if the scent suits me, procure it. However it was out of stock when I was there.

I was thrown in a rather generous samples by the young lady - Himalaya, Original Vetiver, Aventus, Chergui and Daim Blond.

The Aesop x APC was procured at the Aesop's flagship store at the Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya) whist the eco-luxury Ecoya candle was at the Club Street.

Another reason for me to fly over to Singapore was to pick up my delivery from DHL:

Ernesto is my favorite. It has this tobacco, masculine smell. If you are single, this will be the perfect candle for you.

Jeeeusess Atta, you're addicted to scents ! You must have a whole closet of candles, colognes, and various other scented stuff!

And you got the exact FP I am collecting tomorrow! Gold/Blue MIJ one. I almost bought 2 because I was thinking of making it my work uniform. Will post pix tomorrow, along with a new jacket.

I have always been an addict to scents! And Fred Perry! And shoes!

I planned to get more FP but my wife was watching over my shoulder when I was placing my order.

Rm139 for this time and Rm 109 for the last time. But I dont mind because I bought the half prices sunglasses still after calculations I still get the advantages.

Your tax Rm398 wor ? Why is it so high ? Your gucci and anderson's belt worth 4k ? Woaaa.  rclxms.gif I believe the tax is more or less 10% from the purchased value.
*
Those idiotic fat arses at the customs, by themselves, assessed that the shipping by dhl from uk to malaysia was about rm600 whereby in reality the shipping was free. so all added up and taxed me 20% + 10%. This is the thing when education system is deteriorating.
