Ok. Bumping my question up again, those who already have the phone, please try to answer my question cos it's quite an important factor in deciding whether I get this phone or not. I really need some of the S60v3 apps and there are hardly any S60v5 games now. Thanks.

you have to download the map first or else it will download the map as you go just like google map. if you already installed the map, it will only use 3G/GPRS for the lock process if you enabled A-GPS.

Those people who already have the phone can take up-close shots of it please? Those pictures of the phone on the internet are all touched up and those on review sites are the pre-production models. I won't be buying this until the official release so now I can only drool at the pictures now..

The only way is to do a factory reset. Remember to back up your necessary user information before proceeding. Use the in-phone backup utility. Otherwise PC Suite's backup works too.

format ur phone by key in *#7370#
make sure to back up ur data 1st

if u have old firmware..try to reset the phone *#7370# but back up the data first.

Yes, hard reset here means *#7370# --> SEND. (I think it is 7370). Its equivalent to a factory reset to default settings. All programs will be lost. Backup here means using either built-in backup utility or PC Suite backup to backup all your messages, contacts, calendar, to-dos, meetings, and necessary phone settings. Content in micro-SD card is unaffected but applications installed in it will be re-detected by the phone and re-installed automatically. It works like a charm.

Contrary to the 'real' hard reset via formatting of the phone NAND memory and re-establishing content from the ROM, yes, no real instructions yet since we're dealing with something newer than S60v3.

but there's an advise here on installing theme
plz install all ur themes to memory card instead of phone memory
because many of them out there suffered from system crash with some faulty themes
if the affected theme is installed on memory card, just need to remove the memory card from the phone and everything will settled
but if the theme if installed in phone memory, no cure oredi XD

Just got back from Atlantis, lots of ppl there, the shop is basically packed!.  Met Cybersonic? and another forummer from lowyat there. Seems that the forummers here are "attacking" the place..  . Chris is a real nice guy, will definately buy from him again. He is giving free screen protectors but need to cut a little bit.
I got the blue set. Add me to the list. Very happy with my purchase.
