QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2009, 04:46 PM) Goodness, this thread moves so freaking fast. It must be with some kind of hidden spell huh? Very tempted to grab the red colour set. Jeez, Nokia E71 attracts me too. The worst thing is my SE P1i is doing great, no reason for me to give up on it. But this 5800 baby is really tempting. So far how many of you have bought this baby? me P1i also doing great but...i just sold it for a red 5800!!! Kuching, AVAXX at less than 1.5k

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2009, 05:14 PM) Betrayer! How dare you to leave SE P1i for your new love? Erm, I'm thinking to leave it too. welll...i hated p1's speed...and UIQ already dropped support.. and somemore on my celcom 3g card, cannot even copy my phone contacts to the sim card at one go...that was the last straw i only had p1 for 4 months!

QUOTE(snakevenom @ Jan 5 2009, 06:34 PM) i think most probably they will just bend the metal part only. my DIY is just screw the back part tighter a bit and press the front speaker hard a bit, maybe that indirectly repaired it i guess. or maybe just press the front speaker phone will help. no more low and high volume issue ouchhh..i was hoping they would at least replace it with a new batch of speakers. the thing is, if we / they only bend or push here and there to connect it, why this problem only happens after few days? i'm suspecting maybe the speaker itself, once subjected to lots of usage, it heats up and the pins jumps off. therefore, maybe every few weeks need to DIY...very very troublesome. i'll probably bring to nokia soon to check it up.

if u wanna buy this phone right now better don't buy AP sets because the earpiece problem seemed to have happened to quite a few people.
my fren who bought the phone same day with me, now 2-3 days later also got such problem! luckily we bought avaxx sets

QUOTE(ipohfly @ Jan 5 2009, 11:13 PM) hmm wonder what's happening to the QC with 5800 sometimes different parts are manufactured by different companies...probably nokia just assembles all of it.
