windows XP reinstallation

hi, Happy New Year!!! jus wan to ask very expert for opinions... i hav a reformat of my pc recently and after i reinstall the Xp home, windows ask me for activation, ok, i activated it and windows woks well. but when i brought another larger hard drive, i reintall the xp home, i cant activate it.... every things same, only hard disc largerloh.... i scare if i upgrade my amd to amd2, then i need to buy another XP???? any ideas?? thanks

ur XP is an OEM or ehem or retail version??
sounds like OEM

you have to call microsoft and tell them your problem that you change hard disk. then they will let you reactivate your product key one more time.

if you own an ori then it's not unethical to help yourself with a VLK.
