anyway for those hu wan it,here is the custom bios of my GTX260 im suppose to flash,I've increased the voltage value frm 1.06 to 1.15v

can tell me how to make custom bios?

there is software called RBE bios editor that can custom edit and make ATI bios.. but dont know bout nvidia.. anyone?

there is one and its called NiBitor.

so.. basically you dump the original bios and edit it via the program..

wich means the program it self will give description on what to do??

or i have to hex code my self wich i don't know anything about

Just bought this baby yesterday at ALL IT hypermarket
I manage to bargain it from 1499 to 1430..



The interesting bit is i manage to overclock this to 702/2646/1584. That's the exact same specs as
the EVGA SSC edition.
Have been running atitool artifact scan and it's error free for 7 hours
however fan speed at 70% with temp at 75C. Will try for lower fan speed.

I upgraded from 8800GT and noticed a tremendous difference.
So far, i've tried crysis warhead with enthusiast setting, 2x AA at 1900x1200 and it's flawless. Don't know the exact FPS
but there wasn't a lag at all
Also tried GTA IV, with highest texture and detail, view distance 30/60 and it's flawless too.
but anymore view distance and it crawls.


One thing i noticed is the high pitch sound it makes when i run the card full load.
when running atitool there's a high pitch sound but none at gaming.
It squeals when i run crysis but only for 10mins or so.
Read on some sites that GT200 tend to do that and it's normal.
I'm considering exchanging it....should i?

try increasing ur fan speed straight to 100%,wont do much harm except for the noise.

what is the high pitch sound u referring to?i so far heard none using my 260

it's a high pitch kinda squealing sound...

i can't run atitool on my pc for some strange reasons.it says the gc i selected is not connected to monitor

hehe..that's odd
just found out something odd is whenever i am the menu screen of crysis warhead the sound happens but not during in-game
oh well, overall, i'm actually very happy with this card...haven't tried pushing it further as it's eating up all the games i'm throwing at it with
the current settings
will try and post some benchies later

not yet bro no time last nite only went for a default speed test run....

set the fan to 55% only the fan already humming.... and this is done with open side panel....

i've tried 700 core and 1400 shader.

i remember that cstkl1 post about this card have a 1:2 ratio but i cant find it now.
