 Uninstall windows

Hello guys,

I want to install new hard drive and wanna get rid of the windows from the old hard drive (still using the old hard drive as storage)

So, how do you uninstall the windows ?

plug out ur old HD.. put in the new one install new window to it. then after that oni plug ur old hd back into it. then delete the window folder.. and use it as storage.. seattle

If do like that then, there will be 2 boot prompts ( you have to choose which windows u wanna use) coz not uninstall properly

Format the old hdd. Make fresh install in new hdd.

I made a fresh install on new HDD and try to format the old hdd but it says

"Windows was unable to complete the format"

Any ideas ?

Window may still accessing some files on the old hdd.

Try use Paragon partition manager to format it or any formatting software u prefer to format after reboot

How about boot LInux from usb n delete folder in the hdd or format it?

you can download disk utility from the manufacturer of your hard disk to format it

try format using HDD Low level Format.i've use it & it works fine.
