The story of Queen's Blade is thusly. Every four years the queen of the country is decided by a fighting tournament called "Queen's Blade" and any female above the age of 12 is eligible.

Queen's Blade is a series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan, based on the licensed works from Lost Worlds. First published in 2005, it features only female characters.

Beginning with the 7th series, it uses all-new game rules compatible with the Lost Worlds books.

Went through the first episode. Wow...the level of fanservice just went over the definition of ridiculousness.

I was already expecting blatant outright fanservice (since I saw the artbook scans for the characters on scan sites) but didn't expect it to be so way over the top in the anime. -.-;

Makes Ikkitousen pales in comparison IMO.

Animation quality is really crappy. Might be dropping this after a few more episodes.

Anyone noticed that the width to height ratio looks weird? Characters look stretched horizontally.

Because the raw file is 4:3. You might need to resize the aspect ration to 4:3 using your video player

Rather weird how they took a 4:3 raw and encoded it in 16:9.

The best animation for the ending as it look like the classic anime and rpg ending. ^^ . As the ending song have no eechi stuff at all. Watch and another anime with character wanna be no 1 from nothing. ^^ . And the witch with the milk bomb.. TT.. man.. can't there be a better weapon. TT

I suggest Russian-subs. Their translation is better than aasasubs, or other QB fansubber (dunno why other fansubber translated "yonen" as 12 years ). Though all of them translates Leina's family name as Bansu (should be Vance)
