Hey guys, really sorry for the delay. The real world is catching up. Here is this week's schedule. Again, if you need to change anything please call me (012-2965653 @ Josh) at least 24 hours in advance before your match. If you need to play outside of the ESPGL match time (Between 10am - 1.30pm), the cost is RM20 for the change. =)

Week 4 schedule out!

So, just to let the team leaders know, the first side event is out. It is a 32-man FFA KotH (King of the Hill or Kill, whichever you prefer =P). It starts off first with 32 people and at the end of each map, the bottom 4 will be eliminated until there is only one man left standing. Winner gets RM300 to be paid at the end of the ESPGL.

Things to note:
1. Registration opens on a first-come-first-serve basis with Brian "Death" Chan (Note to self: Need to find those small Malaysian flags) right after the last match of the ESPGL.
2. Please keep registration orderly so we can settle things as quickly as possible.
3. Non-ESPGL registrants are not allowed to participate in the KOTH side event.
4. This event is free, yes, FREE for all ESPGL participants.

3. Please keep registration orderly so we can settle things as quickly as possible.

I'll work on the update schedule and I'll release it again after lunch. Probably about 3pm.

Announcement: After some consideration, there will be no ESPGL for this week due to the L4D tourney taking place in Blitzone. All matches will be postponed to next week.

However, while there will be no matches, there will be a team leaders meeting that will start at 2pm. Please SMS me whether you will be coming or not. It's not required that you come, but it's is 'strongly' encouraged that you do. This meeting will go over the ruleset and plans for future ESPGL seasons.

We will meet up at Blitzone at 2pm then probably move to Mage Cafe so we can have air-conditioning, drinks and food.

Explanation of how the knock-out round works:

The top two teams in a group will advance into the winner's bracket whilst the bottom one/two in the group will advance into the loser's bracket. The two brackets will be single elimination and only the 4 finalist will win cash prizes.

Winner's Bracket Prize:

1st Place - RM1,500
2nd Place - RM800

Loser's Bracket Prize:

1st Place - RM450
2nd Place - RM250

Postscript: I'm sure many of you would have noticed, so here it is: Brian and I regret to announce that the prize money for this ESPGL season has been reduced. This is due to several sponsors pulling out because of the worsening economic crisis. We understand their situation and are grateful for their support in the earlier rounds. Similarly, we hope that you guys will understand the position that we are in as well and continue to support us.
