Oh ! want to find valentine date ~

They just install Samsung LCD TV on most of their carriage...

When i was there, they showed Garfield the movie, Speedy Gonzales and local advertisements...

First class seat changed to aircraft style...

But, i think in 2010, you will witness the biggest change, haha.....and by the time, i don't want to take bus to Ipoh....

How long it takes to reach IPOH??
*
KL to Ipoh currently, used diesel locomotive................2 hour 56 minutes or 3 hours with few stops

Top speed, 120 km/h...

In 2010, they will use electric train, that time.........you can surf internet on board and probably there's cafe on the train too...

KL to Ipoh will be 2 hours 15 minutes, with stops

KL to Ipoh, non-stop will be 1 hour 50 minutes...

Top speed, 140 km/h...

On my train ride yesterday........it took 10 seconds (9 seconds minimum, 11 seconds maximum) to pass 250 metres...

Not so, i enjoyed the view, once it past Rawang from KL Sentral, by that time, the ride was very stable and less shaking

I enjoyed the Speedy Gonzales, that's all lulz....

I did brought calculator to calculate train hahahaha

got go until penang or not??

KTM does have service up to Padang Besar (it does stop at Bukit Mertajam and Butterworth), but you wont like it, because the journey may took up to 7 hours or 9 hours.....i forgot.....

However, there is a current project the double track and electrify the track up to Padang Besar (close to Thai border), so ....if you ride on electric train in future, KL - Butterworth maybe 3 hours.....and again, it may have internet

Depends....

Rawang to Ipoh, quite fast

Rawang to Seremban, slower a bit because got Komuter

Other than both lines, the journey is extremely slow due to single track and not electrified

I quite fed up with bus, (not all bus that i dislike though, Plusliner or Transnasional are decent, Aeroline no idea, but i heard they are very good, though expensive)..............because of Puduraya and driver's attitude...

Still, i take bus, but depends on company biggrin.gif

*
Part of Puduraya will be shut down soon, but in the future, taking bus to the south, will be A LOT better biggrin.gif

QUOTE(dEvILrOx @ Dec 30 2008, 12:11 PM)
oh okie okie ...
den y dun decide it now ? solve ur headache ~
train > bus > car
in terms of cost ... correct ?

car > bus > train
in terms of time ... correct ?

so bus would be a better options biggrin.gif

ele y u wanna kick me back south pole ~~
*
Cost, generally it is....

Bus > train

However, KTMB offered first come (early bird) ticket from KL to Ipoh..................at RM 1

A single trip from KL to Ipoh normally about RM 10 on economy class, RM 18 on second class...

Comfort...

Definitely train is better than bus, because of walking space....

It has been a news long time ago...

2 days ago, i saw the construction site, the new integrated transport terminal (ITT) in Bandar Tasik Selatan, for southern route........

The construction already reach the next floor with on-ramps...

That terminal, will have full air-cond waiting lounge with LCD bus announcement screen....

Far, but definitely it will cut down congestion inside KL, especially the road in front of Puduraya...

At the end, there may seperate terminals for south, east, north...
