If you require free, I doubt it's possible. There's this program called "POS" if not mistaken, try and google it. It's means "Point of Sale". Btw, your friend starting new shop, require that program or are you starting shop?

UBS has many types of software, there is a UBS Accounting System and UBS POS System, though they share some common function like customer & inventory function, but they are not totally the same, accounting system got more advanced functions for accountant use, while POS is more suitable to deal with sales that require receiving cash & printing receipt to customer.

For invoice & purchase order, it is more suitable to use an accounting system.

you're trying hard to push up your post count, aren't you?

as for TS, just hire someone with Access knowledge for this simple job. i'm sure someone would do this for a hundred buck. i have a couple of example myself but for copyright reason, i can't distribute it.

Peachtree had a package that does all these. But I don't know if they still have it or not.

i don't think MYOB would suit TS need. it's too *deep* compared to what TS wanted it to do.
