New E71 user reporting in. I have a question. Every time i connect the phone to my laptop for either data transfer or synchronization the phone doesnt detect the memory card after i unplug the usb. I have to restart the phone every time i use the usb cable so the phone recognize the mc. So my question is after u are done using the usb do you just unplug or u have to do some software shutdown which i didnt do. Very annoying ler. Hope all the veteran users can enlighten me on this one. Thanks yall. Gong Xi Fa Chai to all.

[quote=aspire2oo6,Jan 26 2009, 11:14 AM] i had that problem before try rub the metal part of the micro sd card. Added on January 26, 2009, 11:14 amOh.. its not the memory card thats causing the problem. Its when i use the usb cable to connect to my laptop. Happens after i unplug the usb, the phone stops recognizing the memory card. The card is working fine. I tried a few cards already but still the same thing. So i want to know what steps you guys take after u use the Usb cable. Do you just unplug the cable or is there a shutdown protocol to do before u remove the cable. Thanks anyways.

QUOTE(faliff @ Jan 27 2009, 02:16 AM) Try this step for reactive memory card after used USB. messaging/option/setting/other/memory in use Thanks!!! That was the problem after all. I guess i need to switch the 'memory in use' to phone memory before i connect the cable the next time. Thanks you're a saint.
